Director of 'Lion King'
Braylon is an award-winning director hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is an associate member of the Stage Directors & Choreographers Society (SDC) and holds an undergraduate degree in Theatre Performance. In his freelance, Braylon has directed numerous productions at all levels. He holds a professional teaching license in Theatre Arts, and taught full-time before beginning a full freelance workload.
In 2024, Braylon directed Hairspray at BCS Summer Theatre, which was nominated for 23 BroadwayWorld Regional Awards, and won 7, including Best Musical of 2024. Braylon has also been instrumental in the educational theatre scene in the Twin Cities, serving as the Director Of Theatre Arts in White Bear Lake, teaching and coaching young actors. In these roles, he has sent several of his students off various BA or BFA programs across the country, such as NYU Tisch, the University Of Minnesota-Duluth, Normandale, and UW Eau Claire.
White Bear Lake participates in the MSHSL (UIL comparison) One Act Play competition, which is statewide, and divided into 16 sections, with 10-25 schools in each. After multiple rounds, the 1st place play after adjudication from theatre industry professionals will win the section and represent all those schools at the State Tournament Festival. This is an incredibly high honor. In 2025, Braylon directed an adaptation of 'She Kills Monsters' for the competition one-act. WBLAHS represented section 4AA as the champions at the state conference, winning out of 11 plays in the respective section.
Braylon's next project will be directing 'Miss Nelson Is Missing' at the Phipps Center For The Arts (Hudson, Wisconsin) which will be the first show in their 2025-2026 season.
Kiana Kalli
Season 4 Production Manager
Kiana Kalli is the Production Manager for BCS Repertory Theatre. This is her third non-consecutive year of involvement with the company. Kiana holds stage management credits from numerous companies including the Burnsville Theatre Guild, BCS Repertory Theatre, The Winona State University Theatre Arts & Dance Dept, and Inver Grove Heights Community Theatre. Over the last decade, she has stage managed over 20 productions including full-length musicals, straight plays, competition one acts, and devised showcases highlighting pieces of marginalized communities within the intersection of the local minority groups such as the Burnsville Black Student Union, Asian Student Association and PROUD club.
Kiana is currently in her fourth year at Winona State University, studying Social Studies Education with minors in Ethnic Studies and Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies. In addition to her educational journey, Kiana has also served as an Educational Assistant Paraprofessional and a counselor for the EDGE summer program operated by Burnsville Community Services in our youth enrichment department.
Kiana was promoted from House Stage Manager to Production Manager during the season of the 2024 summer production 'Hairspray' (Season 3.) In her new role, Kiana is in charge of keeping books on finances, hiring records, maintaining the logistical integrity of the production and making sure that the line connects with the Artistic vision of the company and show alike. She works closely with the Producing Artistic Director to ensure that the proper documentation gets prepared, stored, and signed.
Kiana will be returning for her 3rd season in the summer of 2025.
